Hey NS,

I was looking for a video camera and i was looking through the search bar to see what people have been suggesting but all the posts are people bashing other people's suggestions and there isn't much progress. I was looking at the canon VIXIA HV30/40 and they seem pretty decent for filming edits and other outdoor activities, i was also looking at the GL2 which i know is a good camera. I was wondering if anyone who knows what they are talking about would like to give some advice on what camera to get. I want to be able to shoot HD edits and other miscellaneous things.

im selling my panasonic sd100, so new havent even uploaded footage about 2 hours at most shot with it, its going anywhere from 800+ to around 1000 from most repituable sites, ill hook you with it for cheeper than you could get an hv30, if interested hit me back

Make sure your computer can handle HD cause there is nothing worse then getting an HD camera and you can't edit your footage.
 
its hd man thats why it costs around 1000 new, the least expensive hv30 from a legit site i could find was maybe 780 maybe 800 how bout 725 pluss shipping, im negotatable though,

it shoots on flash memory (sd cards) apposed to mini dv (the little tapes) like the hv30/40 does as well
 
thanks man +K im selling it just because i dont have time to play around with avchd right now if it was the summer and i had some time on my hands itd be a different story, i just cant have it sitting around for a few months, id much rather have some money for it
