Video Camera Problems

I was wondering if any body could tell me what is wrong with my digital video camera i am getting these black lines across my screen. I think it might be something with the heads but i am not sure. any suggestions?

 
yeah it could be that the tape is wearing out from recording over too many times, or that the heads are wearing out. hopefully though, it's just that the heads need cleaning. buy a cleaning tape and run it through once or twice. that'll probably fix it.

 
yeah i think i will try a cleaning tape and see if hat works its not the tape because my tape works fine in my friends camera. Thanks

 
yea its a bad tape.. buy new ones, or get a tape cleaner/camera cleaner.. that shit happens at school with the cameras a lot.. it blows, but easy to fix

Your heads might be dead on your camera. If so, then that sucks because you either get them fixed which will cost big money or get a new camera.
