VICE pounding homophobes about BSA policy change

As an eagle scout i'll say it the bsa is pretty fuckin gay as is. So happy im done with all the crap and safety rules

I loved being in boy scouts. there are so many bad ass things i was able to do because of my involvement. (white water rafting, spelunking, various ski trips, canoeing through Algonquin park, hiking in the adks, ect)

however the fact that BSA still holds such strong negative views about a group of people kinda makes me ashamed to have given so mush time and money to such an organization

We had very little focus on jesus when I was in. When I first joined my troop was basically all kids who hunted/skated/shredded and the scoutmasters were just kids dads who liked camping and hunting. We'd have venison and pheasant on trips and cool stuff like that but then they aged out and BAM some fat bastard who was an eagle scout back 25ish years ago and never lets people forget became the leader and with it went all the fun...

Hopefully it all becomes more accepting and fun
 
My dad's an eagle scout, but never encouraged me to be a scout due to the homophobic attitude. Hopefully by the time you have a son things will have changed...

all my close friends are from scouts. we fuck shit up. we never go camping anymore. but we've all gone to philmont and it was dope. With our feminine scoutmaster, I may add
