Vibes to Burton

As much as I hate the company, the amount that that man accomplished is impressive and it is never good to hear about something like this happening
 
Well I do not care for Burton as a company or Burton himself, but cancer can be horrendous, so I can't take joy in it, but I can't say ++++vibes either (probably among the stupidest trends in internet forums and shit). Bad break nonetheless.
 
For sure. Wouldn't have been the same without him.

The original history of how it all came to be is pretty interesting. From trays to the snurfer, to people throwing down triple corks on modern snowboards.

Pretty dope. Hopefully he'll get through it alright and be okay in the end

Damn, that's pretty shitty, but it sounds like they caught it early and he has an extremely high chance of recovery. He's not going to die lol.
 
Look at the boots! I dont really like burton (although they make some of the warmest mittens out there) but that sucks and hope he beats it.
 
I bet he is more pissed about the fact that he is probably going to loose one of his balls than the fact that he has cancer.

vibes, he is on of the very lucky people with cancer because he has the most curable form that rarely has anyone die from it, but hope he gets better
 
Burton used to be a totally different company. 10+ years ago there stuff was awesome and some of the best in the business.

I'm not a fan of the newer stuff though, especially the change to the bindings. That said, they do work for a lot of people. I just can't ride a highback that high.

Sport wouldn't be anywhere close to where it is today though
 
Honestly, we would be nowhere with out this guy. Although I don't like snowboarders, nobody really deserves cancer. Do hope he gets better.
 
ya testicular cancer is one of the easiest cancers to beat. that being said, it was still bad that he got it

+++vibes he helped snowboarding where it is and to me, changed skiing becasue if it werent for snowboarding....skiing wouldnt be where is now.
 
people that hate burton have no idea what they're talking about, few companies in the world are as legit.

stoked to hear he's gonna be alright, nice to have some good news in winter sports this week.
 
Fucking absolutely this. Everyone on NS just jumps on the Burton hate wagon because they don't know any better and hate Shaun White. I bet if you asked the majority of kids on here why they hate Burton, they'd be like, "Uhhh they uhh don't support skiing and shit, so fuck them."
 
The quality changed, the price changed. You don't get as much bang for your buck. Burton used to be the best. On the other hand their customer service is amazing. If anything happens they'll hook you up.

Burton of the past > Burton of the present.
