It wasn't in practice, it was in the slopestyle comp, which was held in the worst conditions ever.
She was going for it and she cased super bad doing a 9 on the final hit on the course. Would have been the winning run if she didn't knuckle.

damnnnn that is horrible news. riders were complaining mass about that course too. i wonder if there is a video to see what happened, like did she fuck up or could she just not get the speed she needed? either way no matter whos fault it is its sad to hear

 
damn that is really shitty to hear. i wish her the best and to get healthy quick. but i got a question. if it was off the bottom jump was it the 80 footer or the 65?

i'm watching the X Center review of the day thing and they just showed her crash. damn that crash was brutal. off the 80 footer. just missed by about 5 feet. damn slow snow.
 
this may sound like a douche bag question which i know it is.. but.am i a bad person for thinking it would have been funny if she started screaming "my back is broken! my back is broke!"

How many people are going to get fucked up on this course? That snowboard girl, Sarah Burke, even Travis Rice almost got wrecked.
 
I think I heard them say it was a compression fracture of one of her vertebrae. 3rd lumbar or something like that.
