Very large coats? for big guy?

Hey my buddy is 5'10 around 300lbs. He's having trouble finding a winter jacket that can fit him for the slopes, does anybody know of any companies that would be good for a coat for him?

Virtika, they make jackets that are not only long but also very wide/have a great volume. The newer Virtika stuff is also very good quality, I have a pair of pants from them and they're the only ski pants I own that have no ripped around the bottom.
 
step 1: Go to store

step 2: find size

step 3: try it on

step 4:buy it

step 5: ????

step 6: profit.

We don't know what is going to fit your 300lb friend.
 
Hah good luck. As a big guy myself it's tough finding a jacket in the right size. I know Columbia makes jackets in big and tall sizes but they aren't always the most stylish. I had good luck with looser fit 686 xxl but that might not work. 6'6" and 300 lbs for reference.

a 37 inch zipper is still relatively small for someone 6'2 plus. In the xxxl tall start making a 45 and I garuantee your sales of that size are more lucrative

yes the old school saga jackets used to come with a 42 and it was right in the zone....i am 6'3, not even that crazy tall... there is a huge un tapped market for the tall community, just saying

Yo I'm 330 and have been rocking flannel coats from a men's workwear store for like 4 years.
