Very Bad Advice

I am writing to tell you all that by following your advice in this site, i have broken a brand new pair of atomic beta carv 9.18s. After reading the post on tramp skiing, you all sid it was okay to do, so I did it and snapped my brand new 800 dollar skis. In the future, I would advise against offering advice unless you are sure it is safe and correct.

 
Never use real skis on a tramp, make some out of foam and plastic rods instead....

To get our skis warrantied we used to put them in a door and slam it repeatedly on them, or we would take a chisel to the tip. I'm SURE you can get them under warranty, otherwise its a bunch of crap. If they snapped I guarantee warranty will cover them, tell them you were going down a course and caught a little air and when you came down it cracked, or you were skiing bumps with them.

 
dude that's gay, you should totally be able to get warranty, where'd they break?? Just don't tell them that you were using them on the tramp!

scratch up the bases and top sheet a bit too to make em look like they were actually used

that's a pretty expensive ski dude. all my sympathy to the ski and your feelings u would be feeling inside.

Just say that you crashed at high speeds and they broke. Some of my friends ran their skiis over with their cars and sent them in for warrenty. They got hooked up with new skis and bindings.

 
totally dude, just beat them up a little and send them in, should be sweet.

tweaker...what the hell were you thinking...why did you take your NEW ones onto the tramp, thats one of teh dumbest things ive heard...ever. Even if they didnt break you could fuck up the bases...honestly...you must be retarded

Dude, that sucks. I know you read the article, but there's no way I would use my skis on a tramp. I'm a dick about my skis already and just got them this year. I can't imagine how protective I'll be during the year when some little kid skis onto the backs.
