.I have teneightys ...but this year i was presented with a pair of Salomon Verse7 for like real cheap...I dont know much about them...but they seem all right for now...theyre not compeletely twin tip but the back is still bent

Could anyone please tell me something about em..

what are they good for???THX

Um, they will work well for you if you ski groomers only at low speeds and you don't weigh much. Yeah, they are designed to be a ski that will take begginers to intermediate.

lol, I just had 666 posts... anyways, yeah, those are the mens, but they are beginner skis, they have a TON of flex, which is real bad, and the tails are SUPER soft... I wouldnt even ski on them at LOW speeds...

Funny how massive corporations and media giants like NBC refuse to support new skiing events like big air and big mountian, yet they use the latter's image to enhance their own. Actually, not so funny. Suck it, NBC.
 
Unless you got them for less than $50 you got ripped off...

use them for jibbing in the streets, but don't go up the mountain, they can't even go moderate speeds and everyone will laugh at you

ALRIGHT.. SPEAKING FROM SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE.. i got the verse7 lites *the women ones* and then i got the 1080s like a month later,and i only skied on the verse 7s one time the rest of the season.. i'm tryng to get rid of them actually! so i'd say, its not worth it..

Well after listening to you dudes ....i have decided to sell them off to some stupid kid and maybe buy a pair of race skis ....always wondered what its like to ride race skis in the pipe???

if i were u i would use them as a street ski tool and use it for jibbs and or sell them and or make a bench

I paid around 150 bucks for skis and S509 bindings....and i might keep them for the rails..

by the way whoever said the 1080s suck can go eat a big pile of shit....cause everyone knows that it is the best ski around

newschooler id sell the skiis.. make a profit on them.. besides whoever it was made a good point.. they will chatter on the hills around here. ex. blue since its on the escarpment.. the conditions are nice and icy as you already know

Well, I know how you all say they're shit, but I know a 13 year old who threw a 900 on those same skis. They were all he'd ever ridden, but now I think he is sponsored. I think that any ski would be good if you were used to it and hadn't skied anything better. But there are better skis.

Why not just buy a pair of snowblades and wear a one piece bright yellow suit. The blades would ski better.. :/
