so ya. im trying to decide where to go to college. should i stay back in new england and go to uvm (univ. of vermont)... or go out westand go to u of u ( univ. of utah. )??

Imagine the ns outcry if u(lateralis) were banned. There would be countless threads and petitions to bring u back, it would be like when treadway got banned from whistler. Someone would probably make and sell 'Free Lateralis' stickers and shit. -j

Burlington is one awesome fuckin town. If you go there, realize that almost everyone smokes weed, so if you don't, you most likely are going to. Also realize that the season is normally a LOT shorter and crappier than Utah. It is a very chill school though.

Utah has the best snow, a long season, and its a beautiful place. However, like someone else said, it is crazy conservative and mormon. If you can deal with that, thats always good. Also realize it probably sucks to move all your shit out there. Don't worry about coming home though...you wont want to.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

I dislike the eastcoast and all the pseudo-elitist bullshit out there....so my vote is for going out west

whatev... there are tons of cool people in utah, and its kind of shallow and immature to care about other peoples political and religious beleifs.

but yeah, UTAH for sure. screw vermont! all the resorts in Utah are like 30 minutes from the U, its a sweet school, and there is a plenty going down around campus.

vermont is a way better school but utah obviously has better skiing, look at what each school offers in academics and think about what you want to major in

I'm in the same place. If I don't go to school out west, I'm going to Champlain in Burlington, and skiing Jay all the time. With some Stowe in there too.

Don't be ridiclous, I know vermont has some decent riding because a chunk of my ski crew moved here from Vermont/upstate new york. Believe me, its not compareable.

I'm looking at the university of vermont, because its a better school. Plus burlington is such a cool place. There is not bad skiing. It's definitely not Utah, but it's sure as hell better than ohio.

well the thing is that in Utah when you dont ski, even tough its much better than Vermont, with all those mormons and rednecks, how's the university life?? Could be pretty boring, and that would definetely affect my choice...

the U is actually very diverse and there is no shortage of entertainment, just like any school actually. if you cant find anything going on, its probably not your surroundings that are the problem.

i go to uvm and have been too utah...you may say that the mormans wont try to convert you but when you have to leave the bar at 1 am and all the other drinking laws are fucked up its obvious that its a lil dif then vermont where the bars are open till 2 and the party doesnt end till 420 am
