yes i'm going :). last year there were around 6 pros and hopefully this year there will be many more because its a great time. well, the weather sucked but thats stratton in march. its going to take a lot of skill to win if guys like dc, liam, hibbert, iannick b, peter olenick, mike olenick, and woods show up again.

The VT Open and The East Coast Open (or whatever they are calling it) are going to be huge East Coast comps this year. The East Coast Open will be at Okemo and from what FREEZE told me about it, it is going to be off the hook. Any one who went to the first VT Open knows that it will be sick again, so there should be some action on the right coast this winter.

^ you still prolly wont stand a chance if they did, cuz every once in a while when stratton does skier x, all the sms kids come over and woop up. If they did it in the vtopen there woulld be cash prizes, which would bring like half the school over. and all those kids know how to fly.

the grail doesn't have a damn thing on the vt open. and gallant snow is putting on a slopestyle at a different time...pretty sure they still are having pipe and big air for the grail

 
the VT Open was worth it for the lift tickets alone. aside from the weather it was awesome.

ok im gonan explain this agin.. for the grail they took out the big air part of the grail and replaced it witha nighttime rail jam which im sad b/c i love big air. but the halfpipe event of grail will be during the day and that night will eb the rail jam as well as the next day is skier/rider cross. and that week is the week of the freeskier jibfest at mount snow.. i wasnt putting stratton down at all to all the people that misunderstood my message

VT OPEN is deffinately a fun time. Stratton builds on the park from the Snowboard US Open which is the weekend before the VT Open. Last year the park had 2 enormous tables, anotheer 2 enormous tables right next to eachother which you can gap, and about 4 or 5 sick rails. Then lets not forget about the 20 foot superpipe which Stratton is well known for. Its not extremely competative, the skiers want to win but its a pretty relaxed atmosphere.

Yea, and puff remember the fuckin jump for the burton photo shoot? if any of you can get up there im sure that if they do the burton photo shoot again you will be very impressed. fact of the matter was that that photo shoot jump WAS THE BIGGEST BOOTER TO EVER HIT THE EAST COAST. prolly rougly like a 75 foot gap, with a 25 or soo foot step down. Check out the random riders section of White Dreams, a puffy productions movie, to see what its all about.
