They still could add something on after the Snowboarding US Open at the last minute, but is unlikely at this point.

Good things come and go. After the bullshit that went down last year it wouldnt have been the same anyway. Remember the early VTOs, goodtimes, RIP.
 
Yeah truth! The thing is, Keri Wevurski was basically THE REASON the VT Open was always so sick in the past. She was so dedicated to making that event go off! She worked her ass off getting sponsors, making sure athletes were happy, that there were good judges and that all accommodations were in order. Problem is, Keri got fired before last years VTO.

VTO RIP.

I'm just relaying what I've heard, Doug apparently called the source and heard otherwise. That is the ONLY place on stratton's website where it says anything at all about the VT Open (its not listed under events or anything). So we all MIGHT be wrong.

Honestly, I'd really really like to be proven wrong, I love the VTO so much.
 
ok i may have been a little to serious with saying everyone is wrong. but from what i've heard around stratton (i work in HR there) that they still want to do the VTO. i'm pushing for it hard and doing everything that i can to see that it still happens. i know that the dates are still "reserved" i think that it is just depending on sponsors and such. hopefully it will be finalized soon. but plan on it being a go.
 
Hate to repeat myself - but this is what it is. If you want the VTO to happen you need to write, email, beg, bribe or whatever you think will help to make it happen.
