Vermont Open question...

yea so i got everything covered except i need a ride to Stratton. The airfare into Manchester, Boston, New York, Albany and Burlington are all about the same. So i can fly into any of those cities. So if anybody knows of like a train or shuttle or bus or something that i could take to get up to Stratton? any info is greatly appreciated.

check greyhound.com im almost positive theres a bus from manchester to at least bennington, or if u have some money and your desperate get a taxi

BUMP... there has to be some sort of shuttle or bus or something to Stratton. Here in Colorado you can take a van from the Denver airport to Summit County, Vail, Aspen, wherever for between $50-$100... I cant believe there isnt one of those shuttles from any of the major cities around Stratton... there are like 7 airports within a few horus of Stratton

yea ummm i'm not really sure.... there is a bus that runs down to montpelier that i know of... and we have the amtrac for a train that i know runs all the way to boston... im sure you could find a way... if i wasnt getting surgery then i'd give you a ride down

there's a bus from Burlington that goes into Bondville which is the town by Stratton. i've taken it...forget how much it costs tho. but i bet there a lot of people going to the Open who live around burlington so maybe one of them will give you a ride. good luck

there is a greyhound bus from albany or any of those to manchester vt. just do that..its cheap.

march 23 the east wont be terrible. ya it aint steep but the snow aint gonna be bullets. i like in aspen and am probably gonna head out there

i ride mt. snow, not stratton, so I'm no expert.

Can you get a plane into manchester, NH, or manchester, VT?

Anyway, I couldn't exactly figure it out from the routes on vermont transit's page, but if I were you, I'd just call vermont transit (the phone number's right on top of the page) and tell them where you can fly to, and where you want to go. If they have a bus that can help you out, I'm sure someone there would know.

 
I think Manchester is like 10-15 mins from stratton. take a cab from the airport if you fly into Manchester. Or pay me to drive you from albany to stratton.

take a bus to manchester, vt...get a place cheap somewhere up around stratton. it shouldnt be too hard to hitch hike up there from manchester. or you could always bribe the locals ahemmm...

theres no major cities around stratton, no major cities around vermont really, so that idea is out of the question. id say just try to get a ride from someone else whos going, thatd be your best bet.
