ok, so i know i have been making a few threads about my driving and tickets, and im sorry if anybody getting pissed off. but, i got a ticket for my break light being out (a school bus hit my car while i was at school) i have an appointment to get it fixed, but i still got a ticket. i have a rear fog light on the side of the busted tail light, and it looks and is just as bright as a break light. i was wondering if anybody knew or can find the state law for the requirement for tail lights. like i donno if it says somthing like, there must be at three bright rear lights when breaking or some crap like that. any help and a source will be appreciated because im gonna fight this ticket in court.

my first reaction was to tell you to not make so many threads about this but OK.

deffinetly take it to court they should absolutely not be able to make you pay for having a light out like that, thats absurd. they are supposed to give you a warning and a time limit where you have to get it fixed by.

Usually if you get it fixed before the court date you can bring in a receipt and the charges will be dropped.

ok i will do that.

does anyone have a link to where they give the legal descriptions of taillight requirements or something?
