yeaaa ellingson is finally signed up. Looks like meadows finally get their riders registered. I bet he'll finally beat my ass this year in ze pipe
 
jea, ellingson. hope lots of people are in it. gonna be dope on saturday. probally not too much comp for girls in the rail jam.
 
judging is kinda funky shit so far, but the pipe has been nice, and the weather is barely holding up (albeit windy). Finals to come...
 
would it be worth to do down there tomorrow for the rail jam??? for a girl?? and... i've got another guy skier comin with me.... but for real would it be worth it?

I heard theres like a 60ft double kink (box, rail? no idea which it is), and 2 c-boxes that are set up next to each other. There might be some other features, but I don't know.
 
I wasn't there so I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised, Tommy gets mad locals bonus points. So the judging at veggies is usually pretty skewed. Just keep showing up every year so people know you

sweet run:

6 stright airs

a 9 that was maybe 2 ft out of the pipe

a rushed 5 that kinda turned into a 7 but not really

and he gets the 2nd highest score?

there were some kids that had better runs then that and did not make the finals.

So people sign up for a rail jam

then we see that it is a BOX Jam

then it becomes a box COMP Seriously who does a 2 run box comp that was week shit.
 
yea i dunno, the "rail" "jam" was kinda disappointing, there weren't any rails and for the most part it wasn't really jam format, could have been better. but the real shitty thing is after the comp the park crew was taking down the setup they'd spent the past week building. this was by far the nicest setup meadows had built all season and now its going to waste
 
yea, that was ridiculous on their part. turning the damn thing into a 2 run prelim?? i was pretty shocked when they told us that, and I know my sentiments were on par with practically every other rider, be it boarder or skier, there.

pipe was fun though. some of the scoring was strange, but a nice venue despite the weather
 
I'm a little bit sad I wasn't there. Where was the turnout for girl skiers? No doubt I would have gotten owned cause I haven't skied park in over a year but it would have been fun regardless.

the set up was so fun... nothing like that at stevens. first wall ride ever. the kink box was the biggest i've ever done... Ras-T killed the wall ride!!! would have been more fun if it would have been a jam session
 
yeah wish i could have stayed to watch the rails too btu had to work. anyone know who placed in guys skiing?
