Vegas + IPhone = Fail?

So I got them both, and the problem is I only get the sound from my IPhone videos when I open them in Sony Vegas Pro 9... Is there any custom settings I have to do to get Vegas to support the IPhone video files? Or am I just screwed and need another program..?

first of all, iphone video? it's going to look terrible

your problem is it's in .wmv, vegas doesn't work with .wmv

so google "mpeg streamclip" convert all of the files you want to edit to .avi and proceed to hate your 3MP camera.

Thanks, but I have to add, it's better than you would believe. The days you don't want get up there with a camera heavying you down, you can just pull it out of your pocket and get some shots to play with
