Why are more people not excited about the VCT? With 4FRNT's track record I would think that in a line-up with the Made'n and the Vicious they would kill (excluding the price). I'm not plugging 4FRNT, I just don't get it...

yeah, this is prolly the rare situation where you could pick a ski by graphics, and still be ok, all those skis are sick, and youll like whatever you get. id say line up all of um if you can, and pick by which is the lightest and which has the best flex.

I love my Made'Ns. just get them mounted at true-center so you can stick switch landings eisier. mine are at core center and sometimes I wish they were tru cause I ski switch pow almost as much as I ski normal pow. if you're gonna get Made'Ns, it is mandatory you learn 180s off cliffs...just whatever you do, do not mount them behind core center. They are a bitch to ski when they are mounted that far back and were nearly impossible for me to control while I had them back there. so get core center or true center, but nothing else.

^dude trust me. Don't get behind core center. you will regret it and they will feel heavy as hell. at core center I was skiing tru big mountain lines this year and I had no problem. they rocked. take my word for it, you will not like mid sole.

they're going to be even harder to manuver if they're 180+, man. you won't have as much agility and I can garuntee you will not be skiing actual big mountain all year.

Do NOT listen to Tanakaskier! If you get Made'ns, there is no need to mount them at true center...that's just stupid. My 179s are at +5 and they are super-agile and easy to throw around. Anything further forward and the tips will be diving on you for sure. I also had a pair of 189s at +4 and they were great too.

yeah im not, u dont fucking center mount powder skis buddy, my park skis rnt even center mounted and i land siwtch fine with thos in like a foot of pow, and fatter wil be easyer to land in deeper powder, hence, no center mount

whateva that's just my personal prefrence but my brother mounted his pocket rockets 2 steps in front of tru center and he does cork 3 nose grabs fine on them. So I guess it depends. if you're not going to be doing much switch pow then mount them far back.

I skied a pair of maidens at core center, and loved them. Super stable, float in anything, land anything ski. They are pretty fun in the park too Evan, as they are so wide that stomping landings are super easy. I would also recomend the 179, as the 189 is a massive ski.

Makes maneuvering in tight places extra easy as well. I mount all my big mountain sticks anywhere from +2 to +6, and enjoy them all. Keeps you over the top of the ski also so you don't get caught leaning back.

 
yeah id probably say get the made'ns, some people have said they like them better than the pistols for groomers and just cruisin around, and there definatly gonna be better for pow.

 
yeah mounting them at mid sole may be light, but core center or tru center is even lighter and is better for throwing cork 5s into powder....unless you are unprogressive.

Seth visous-Made'n-Profit 100-Ninthward THA-VCT

now i like the THA alot but they r 187, and im 5'7-8" and they might be too long, i also like the Made'n and VCT but i think the VCT is kinda expensive, and the profit 100 is like perfect, but i dont like the graphics, and the seth visous seem like more aimed for park then pow, what do u guys think i should do
