Just watched vanular's segment from LSS, its retarded. kid could easily be the best right now. I hope he wins everything this year.
 
it was definitely a sick segment, and i definitely agree that he's quite good... but in that movie alone i think liam and stefan both beat him out for best segment...
 
I can see Vanular taking over the jib scene quite soon. Kinda the way Andy Mahre will take over the pow scene
 
if you dont think so now, that corey vanular is the best freeskier in the world (or atleast the newschool/competitive world) in his respective talent range, wait until this time in one year, after the winter, masters, summer, and nz season, and movie releases, you will see.
 
maybe because Corey's segment was filmed in something like 4-5 days at one single shoot, with no BC and Handrails.

Corey's cork 5 blunt to shifty is hands down the styliest trick I've seen ever.

Vanular is sick as shit, hes pushing so much at such a young age, i guess hes not even THAT young anymore but none the less he is young enough.
 
I think saying someones skills = this person and this person put together is dumb. V is V. Other guys are other guys. V is the man, no doubt, thats it.
 
ya, vanulars part blew my mind, i wish it was longer, i could watch him ski for hours, he is so amazing, probably my fav skier right now!

also, LSS is the ski movie of the year hands down!
 
he absolutely shits on that box with the rodeo/cork/whatever it was on 270 off, sucha sick segment. but why wasnt DC in the movie???

i wanna see vanular, mike d, crichton, gagnier, houle, ced, and zicat face off in a rail sesh. that would be tight.
 
that is definetly one of the sickest things i have ever seen. the 540 nose top on those huge pipe things was also out of control.
 
i agree that he has the talent of crichton, and the steez of mickael, but he he can't come close to crichton's creativity, and style. He is so one of a kind in that respect. I hope we get to see more of him in the future
 
personally i dont like mik ds style. he steps onto rails and comes off completely sideways and washes out.... and doesnt do anything spectacular on jumps idk his presses are dope but everything else looks sloppy

I'd say that DC's talent plus Mik D steeze = Lolo. sw cork 630 AND sw rodeo 630? the guys an animal. plus his skimatic seg was off the hook.
 
i dig the rodeo 900, two grab, late lil shifty to utter stompage, as well as the cork five late shifty, as well as the rodeo 810 on, oh and the NOSE BUTTER on top of the water tanks, heck yes!
 
haha, if mik wanted to, he could take over the jib scene, im sick of switch 10s like everyone else, but everytime i watch 1242 his switch 10s get me stoked. to compare with that is not really something to do. though i think vanular has more drive, and has the ability to get into backcountry as well, something the michail never did.
 
yes, but the difference between pro riders and mik d, is that mik d has a life when he isnt skiing. he isnt always skiing and that's the thing. im pretty sure the ratio of the days he skied and the talent that he has is better than nobody. vanular is the next mickael, the next tanner, the next best skier..
 
Vanular is an awsome kid.......and he has alot of tallent.....but for him to be the best certain things has to happen. You could be the best skier in the world....and no be sponsored, or be known. It all depends on alot of things.
 
what the fuck did you have a preminition or some shit for the upcoming season. do you have mad hookups that got you level 1's 2007 release.
