Vancouver/Whistler carpool thread

There was a thread like this last season and it seemed to work really well, and right now there are at least 3 carpool threads on the first page here so I think we could use it all in one spot. I couldn't find the old one though so I made this one.
So post here if you're going to or from Whistler, how many seats available, where from, when, etc. or post if you're in need of a ride up.

 
Oh yeah. Forgot to mention that Bamski and I are in need of a ride up to whistler Friday evening/Early Sat morning as long as we get up there in time to shred all day Saturday. Gas money and stoke will be provided.
 
Update on my situation: Bamski and I got a ride up to Whis, but we don't have one on the way back on Sunday. If anyone coming back to Van on Sunday has any room please let me know.
 
i will be going up in a rental car on the 1st or 2nd of dec which is a tues/wed.

if friends can't make it or if there is a seat ill take some people up.

or if there is enough interest ill find out the price of a van for a day and you can buy your seat up there, although ill take the majority of the share of the cost for the van.

 
anyone have room tommorow or sunday? i wanna go skiing! if you have ~337 bsl ill let you borrow a pair of my skis in exchange for a ride or i can pitch for gas of course.
 
I'm going up tomorrow (Sunday) if I get a full car for the ride up. Currently have 1 seat left. Will be stopping by UBC in the morning to pick up Andy_boy.
 
I think I am going up on tuesday... forecast calls for bluebird. Might go monday as well for a half day or something. Have to drive up and back twice unless someone has an idea of where I can park myself in between. I guess I could sleep in my car but it's tougher to find a place to do that than it used to be.
 
^Sure have spots. Mainly "spot", but I could potentially fit 2. Tuesday morning, could conceivably delay to wednesday depending on weather.
 
^I can only carry two but was planning on going up on the 27th... making me the new NS taxi service... but the problem is I think the person I was staying with just cut my legs out from under me after I dropped $100 on a blackout pass.

Does anyone have a couch I can borrow use of during the 27-30? Not necessarily ALL of the 27-30, but say one or two nights?
 
im getting into vancouver airport at 10:30 pm sunday the 27th. need at ride to whistler (i may miss the last bus over for the night). can anybody help me out? ill pitch generously for gas. please pm me if you can help a fellow skier out.
 
driving to whistler in 1 hour from now (dec 26th). I'll check this at 8:20 before I leave. pm or post here if you need a ride.
 
Going up on sun/monday, whenever I think they're likely to let me into lakeside to ski what fell today... probably monday. But if the roads are sketch like today I will take bus. Still if anyone else is going up we should ski.
 
i am one that is more than mappy to pitch in for gas...i had a situation the other day where my buddy drove me up and i slipped him $30 and he lauged and gave me my 20 back, it was a return trip.

How much do you think is a fair amount to pitch in for a ride from van (downtown) to whis? for say being the only passenger.
 
I have a fairly fuel efficient car, and a return trip costs a little less than 25 bucks. 10-15 is about right. 30 would make sense if you were riding in a Hummer.
 
Looking at sunday, monday, tuesday... some combination of those three days, most likely one or two of them. Day trips.
 
If I get my shit together and get all my work done I'll take a ride up on monday. But ONLY if the snow makes it worth skipping 3 lecutres...
 
Driving to Whistler tonight (thursday feb 4) at around 5:30 or 6pm. Leaving from Main and Broadway area, going through downtown, quick pit stop in squamish to pick up my sled.Let me know if you need a ride.604.836.4627
