Vancouver Rails?

seattle is prime right now. um, im not sure where's good in vancouver, try the colleges, aka UBC west of the city and Simon Fraiser in burnaby (im pretty sure SF has some good rails, just not sure of the inruns). also check out the high schools.

Yeah, but Vancouver has snow for now. And your hurtin' ass will never get any in ATL. But thanks for coming out.

And Mr. Level 1, resorting to using the NS forums to find handrails? Something tells me there must be an easier and more honourable way...

Like what, driving around wasting a ton of gas?? I think its smart. NS is probably one of the best resources for scouting rails in an foriegn town my opinion. Fuck, help him out. :)

SFU has plenty, few of them:

Perhaps you don't care to repeat the McGill incident though...

And plenty more too...

Also a couple of really cool HUGE curvy rails.. we're talking Ss and Cs like 20-60 feet long at the BC Hydro Building beside the Edmonds SkyTrain station in Burnaby...

anyone who gives them rails should be able to hit them with the Level 1 crew and get shots somewhere in the movie, its only fair.

West Point Grey Academy, UBC around the SUB, that curvy rail on Georgia (it's on the way to Whistler) a few blocks west of Comor in the middle of a very urban landscape would look awesome.

is it just me, or does the main part of SFU seem like part of an airport. and yes those posted above were the rails i was thinking of and then some, i was just unsure about inruns and whether they had been nubbed,

^ i hear this guy rolls w/ a crew of 12 asian assassins, keeping rival film companies out of the BC province..u get caught and you lose your 'Vancouver Privledges'

could be wrong though...

There are rails everywhere in Vancouver. You might have to BYOinrun, but rails aren't hard to find.

UBC, University College of the Fraser Valley, 1/2 of elementary/high schools around all have pretty cool rails, SFU if you can figure out security or can set up really quick and get the rails you want first try, and way more. I'm not giving away the good ones.

mr. thomas, you should definitely hit up seattle, you'll get rails that no one ever gets cause this is the first significant snowfall in seattle in like a decade. you could get some shots on unfilmed features, whereas vancouver always gets a few snowdays each year, its a rare oportunity to do it in seattle. i mean here are a couple rails at the high school i went to.

yeah, but that was for the slam city jam, which is an indoor park, and had nothing to do with the rest of the city.
