Vancouver locals?

I'm trying to decide between a pass to Cypress and a pass to Grouse and am not sure what to do. I prefer Cypress for freeriding and building backcountry booters but their park sucks ass. Grouse on the other hand has a sweet park (except no halfpipe) but is not that good for freeriding. What do you think I should do?

Baker kicks ass but I can't just go there after class every day like the local mountains.

hahaha, building a backcountry booter at Cypress. That always worked real well for us, eh Jeffy?

'How come a bunch of sluts get to see In the Haze before me?' - me to Jeffy after he showed some girls the vid.

Steal some snow and find a handrail in town. Then go to baker.

not sure about this season but in the spring around March doesn't Grouse usually have some pass that lets u ride for the rest of the spring plus all of next? I think it's called Y2Play or the Beach Pass. all in all I think it's like $200-$250 i think. so do that in march.

so if you can just work a coupla more days in summer.

Depends on your priorities. If you're about freeriding and know the vicinity well, Cypress. If you want pure park riding, Grouse. If you want a mix of a good park, expansive backcountry for freeriding and booters but with lots of hiking, go to Seymour. Know your options and choose wisely. Last year I chose Seymour myself, but I have been flirting with the considerations of a Grouse pass instead this season, most likely not though. I just hooked up a 4x4 Whistler pass so that's what I'm doing this year actually.

Buy the cypress pass first and then as mentioned above buy the grouse y2 play that is good for that spring and the whole following next year.
