anyone know when they light the fire? i've got an hour and a half drive home and i dont want to miss it/drive home really late

It contrasted way too much with the rest of the stuff in my opinion. We went from natives on ice flows to a hundred Irish looking punks wearing torn plaid shirts, denim, tattoos, tap dancing, playing the fiddle, and just generally looking furious with their bad haircuts. Wat.

STUPID OPENING CERIMONIES. everyone in west van is sitting at home watching them ordering pizza from domninos and im one of them order #92 out off about 200. its taking forever to get here. one of the biggest backlogs in vancouver dominos

good observation, guy with zero K. Now admit it, you overreacted and went overkill. All you have to justify your comment about me being ungrateful and not supporting the economy is, I wanted to see some beavers incorporated in this ceremony.
 
I really fucking hate NBC. It is always about the east coast. West

coast gets boned. Vancouver is 2 hours from here, but we can only watch

it with tape delay. With no Canadian coverage available down here

(which there has been in the past), that means ultra boned.

Oh, and to the Beijing>Vancouver ceremony comment: winter olympics are far less extravagant than the summer olympics. In addition, considering the Beijing olympics were... ~$40 billion, and the vancouver olympics are supposedly ~$6-$7 billion, I think that comparison is moot.
