First album came out a few weeks ago. One of the freshest sounds I have heard in a bit.

Thoughts?

i like their hit single, but it seems like they are just one hit wonders

they are like the strokes in the sense that they became popular online and off a couple singles before they dropped an album. that and because they are an indie band from nyc, not so much that their sounds are alike. they dont sound anything like the strokes.

saw them live last night in denver at the bluebird. they sounded

really crisp and they have a good stage presence. usually when newer

bands start touring their sound quality is not dialed in, but this was

an exception. they played a few new songs too which i thought were

pretty dope. overall i thought it was a really good show.

Yeah I like them, but I haven't listened to enough of their stuff to have a definite opinion about them...I'm seeing them in new york in like two weeks so hopefully they'll be good then...

But that might be because there are a bunch of indie/alternative bands around seattle. I'm not into their sound I guess.
