Valve shows off Steam Machines.

Valve showed off some 3rd party Steam Machines at CES. Personally I like the idea of the Steam Machine but after seeing the price tag on some of them they will have to really convince me to spend that rather then buy a PC and run windows and SteamOS on it. What do you guys think?

So it's run on many different machines/OS? Or steam OS? I have an Alienware laptop ATM and it's sick but really not worth all the money I payed for it

i mean if you want a laptop, its gonna be expensive, plus the fact you bought alienware...
