this thread convinced me to download it.
it was definitely a really cool concept and I really liked how it started out and I really liked how it ended. And I really liked how they all travelled to valhalla like it was a destiny of their likemindedness and it was cool how it continued with that theme for a bit, but I really really think the night section was totally longwinded and it kind of lost some validity for me at that point.
It just got too hippy'd out for me at that point, and I've been in some super hippy new age situations that were super enjoyable, but even if it's maybe portraying some sort of peyote enlightenment trip kind of thing it was a bit much in my opinion. I liked the concept of the nakedness but I thought it may have been a bit overdone, too, but I guess they were trying to challenge the average so whatev. there seemed to be a fair balance of dick n tits.
While I was hoping it would suddenly morph into a little more newschool-oriented sick skiing and maybe have just a bit less of the super hippy peace love stuff, overall I thought it was really well done. It was so different than any other movie that's come out and it really captured the feeling of skiing, esp pow--enjoying it with your friends, challenging yourself, breaking the mold.
I'd recommend it and give it an 8+/10 even without skipping the night section. the 'grass skiing' part made up for it.
