Hi! I'm going to Val D'isere in France in 2 weeks. We're going to be there for a week.

Do you have any recommendations? Any special things I should experience?

La Folie Douce restaurant up on the mountain on an afternoon when they have a DJ and jazz sax players walking around on the outdoor bar. AWESOME place.
And that happens most afternoons when its busy!

Val Park is a million times better than La Spot!!!!

Hit up V Spot just next to the 'Casino' grocery store. It is run Jimmy and Gumbi who are the nicest guys in Val. The best place to meet the other freeskiers and drinks are 2 for 1 for lots of the night. Also in terms of skiing, the trees over at Fornet are really nice on a powder day but get tracked quick. After that there is some great stuff over in Tigne! Have a sick trip, it is the best resort, even if you need a mortage to be there!!

seriously val d'isere is awesome. the terrain is off the chain, the snow is incredible at the moment, the park is now one of the best in europe. enjoy!
