So I did some riding at vail this weekend. It was like april there, the snow was slushy, dirt spots all over the mountain, it was pretty bad. The park there is also really weak, there is nothing that's really challenging. Hopefully they fix up the park, and get a lot of snow, or the US Open will suck this year.

ya, coming home from the x games last night i saw dirt patches everywhere!!! the need to blow snow all week!

Vail doesnt have anything really big but the jumps they have are pretty good and the rails are sweet. Although the half pipe is tiny, I mean Im used to Brecks pipe but Vails seemed like nothing. I believe that they do build more jumps for the open, to skiers left of the park I think.

The gap jump and the rails at the bottom looked sweet, I mean trap to double kink, fucking crazy.

yah the transfer gap looked huge from I-70.

Yeah Josh, instead of wasting your time at vail you shoulda come to WP for the comp. They setup a the trap rail, and a staircase rail. Mikey B took first in the open, and I took second in the expert.

 
I wouldn't say it was a waste of my time, we got a lot of good shots, and I busted my ass open on the c-rail.
