Vail Valley Preseason Railyard/Bonezone

Anyone in the valley interest in collaborating on some sort of early season 'bonezone' style rail garden? Also, if there already is one, I'd be happy to help put in some work and materials to contribute to it. I know of places in Summit that are similar, but if there's something closer that'd be way more convenient

Side note- who's summer setup is that in Eagle Vail visible from highway 6? Has to be a member...

I’m so down to help with this! There’s Loveland pass but that’s been kind of lacking recently and it’s not to close to the valley, any ideas where there could be a new one? If you have any thoughts I’ll 100% help out

Hell yeah man!

Currently scoping locations, but it's tough finding a combo of a place that gets enough snow, is close to the valley, car accessible, and wont get taken down (private property/national forest).

I think somewhere around meadow mountain (minturn exit off I-70) could work well but is pretty dry early season. Also since they do have a 'Sledding Hill' there it might get taken down.

Vail Pass would be sick if we could do it, but I have a feeling they would shut it down. The nice thing about there is they get plenty of snow and it would also be more accessible to the Summit homies.

I’ve thought about one on vail pass too, has nobody made one up there yet?

Nope not mine, the set up on highway six is a young kid's, named Ricky, who's part of Ski Club Vail. I've been on the set up but never skied it.

There is the CMC hike park in Leadville that is normally setup before the mountains open. Then there is the Jibnasium hidden in the woods that a few locals make each year. Not sure what features are being put up this season, but there's normally a few rails.

Then in Summit there is the K51 Terrain Park by Mike Keller.
