Vail Summer/Golf Situation

Movin to vail this Summer to work. Don't know anybody or anything about vail. What's the golf situation? summer passes anywhere for cheap? Concerts this summer? What to do? Let me know...
 


Don't know how to get cheap golf for you, cause I work at a golf course, so I already get free golf in the summer.

For concerts Tuesday night vail has free concerts starting sometime in June, and I think there is also bands playing friday afternoons up in the gondola, but I'm not sure if that is still going to be going on this summer.

You going to have a blast in Vail, it's fun but expensive as hell
 
yea it's my first summer here in vail, just got a new house in east vail with my bro and 2 girls. currently trying to get a landscaping job or painting job or some sort of outdoor work. do you skateboard at all? they put up a sick park at the top of the lionshead parking structure, it guess it's skatelite too... i have been driving to edwards every day to rip their park, it's really nice and flowy. anyways yea i hear there are lots of concerts in vail all summer long...
 
yeah i'm moving up to....love skating so find me i'll be at edwards or vail's park and occasionally making the trip to carbondale

if you haven't skated carbondale its so sick, huge capsule
 
so i got a job doing asphalt work (such a bitch, but good money) and a sick house in east vail. the lionshead skatepark is almost done, we've been skating the ramp. let me know if any of you wanna kick it / chill
 
fuck me. i broke my ankle last week skating so i'll be a gimp for a while

sucks because i'm less than 10 mins from lionshead which looks super clean and like a great local skate park

oh well
 
Golf passes at the Vail course are around $900-1000. Locals discount is an amazing 10%! Have fun out here, you can't really beat Vail in the summer (or winter).
 
Forgot to mention, if you get a job for Vail Assoc. you can play a couple of courses for cheaper.

Due to ongoing weather changes and snow depth, opening dates of the Golf Courses may change. Currently, the following is opening schedule for employee play:

Beaver Creek: May 16th

The River Course at Keystone: May 23rd

Red Sky: May 24th

Keystone Ranch: June 6th
