Vail..."snowboard" park?

I am going to Vail tomorrow, and I just noticed on the website they still call the terrain parks snowboard parks, or snowboard trails, and just have pics of snowboarders...whats the deal? It can't seriously be just for riders, right? Someone put my mind at ease.

don't worry they just stereotype parks with snowboarders, all the terrain parks and stuff are open to both skiers and boarders

i dont think it would only be for snowboarders

and i rember like 5 years ago when they were all called snowboard parks by me

Yeah, I figured that much...but shit, still calling them that is pretty lame heh.

Yeah I remember back in the day when they were just snowboard parks and you couldn't go in them if you were a skier...definately gay.

yah places always do that. and then they put disclaimers up like, 'Remember Freestyle Terrain is for everyone' so little kids and their mommies can go in

Last year Vail's park was really sick. They have a dedicated lift and there were 7 or 8 tables down the run with two sized jumps on each. There was a huge step down at the bottom. Definitely the best park I've ever seen by far.
