It's all part of the conspiracy of the whistler/vail "merger". Now that vail has the tunnels in place for the trading of the crash landed aliens, they now need agents to transport said beings, and who better than a group of highly trained elite skiers. Good Company is now the MIY(the men in yellow), the guys who will be incharge of monitoring, transporting and even killing the aliens vail has posed interest in.
