Vail raises single day lift ticket to $159

It's 500 bucks to ski break, key, a basin, vail and beaver creek for the season. Unlimited everywhere except 10 days at beaver and 10 days at vail. Sounds like a better deal to me.

yea.... if your pass is $159 your "hill" probably sucks, can't imagine being stuck somewhere so shitty.
 
Doesn't matter to me, I wouldn't go there anyways. If they can get people to pay $159 based on brand name recognition, good for them, that's how economics works. They're not making skiing inaccessible to people either, you can still shred Loveland for 63 bucks, and I'm sure there's places in CO that are even less than that. If you don't like it, there's plenty of cheaper, better places to ski. Go discover those places instead of bitching about ticket prices at the most overrated ski resort in the country.
