VAIL PARK FEATURES?

or does anybody know what will the US Open course look like?

There just setting up the lower half of usfo up but the upper half, we have 7 jumps, ranging in size, than a half pipe, quarter pipe. Than for rails flat down, rainbow to kink, 2 down rails, staircase, bunch of flat rails, up rail, big rainbow and some straight ones.

I bet the first feature on the open course will be the stairset, followed by a couple 'normal' rails, then some new feature they have, followed by jumps.

 
if they kept the jib park up as the last feature, it would defeat the whole purpose of a money booter, and the Open would suck, but it would be fun

vails aprk actually has nothing to do with the Open's set-up....its above the start

in my dreams ti would be 2 massive pow booters where the pow is constantly untouched on the landing, then some gnar as rails, then a handrail session...sigh

be aware that the tables that US Open builds for qualifying are a little small because they want everybody to be able to make speed and dont want to force people beyond their abilities.

They have done this the last few years and havnt had to cart too many people off the hill. Last season I dont think they had any major injuries during qualifying. They add a little girth to the jumps for the finals, and then they usually build up the last jump a bit for the big air contest.

I assume the course will be very similar to last year's, however I dont expect the double kink box/rail will be in the course. I would assume the course will start with a few rail options, then a jump/rail together for an option, then end with two table tops no bigger than 40 feet.

^YEa its a smart idea for everyone involved!!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

i got hurt last year, it was gay, not bad though... they made our heat start at 4:00, it ended at like 5:30... i am looking forward to 2 day heats this year
