i was up there the other day theres a ton off sun down bowl but you hafta hike up from chair 7 to them, but there were like 7 big ones we didnt have to build we just used the one already built

For bc, Mushroom Bowl is what you want, or the stuff around the Blue Sky Basin area. If you want to do some walking, there are a few other places too.

there's a few hits down and drop offs at Blue Sky Basin, particularly the left side as you go up. straight line it down the chair cut right and get some massive air off lovers leap on a powder day. otherwise there is scree field with some nice 15 footers and some hucks at steep and deep.

dragons teeth in china bowl good huck cliffs. otherwise there's ptarmagins ridge and cornice you can hike up, where there is some pre built bc kickers.

 
It's the valley that is skiier's right of Blue Ox. You can see it from the top of the lift in the China Bowl. You can get into it there, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The ski patrol don’t like it when people go in there. The best place to enter is higher up on the ridge near the chopsticks or even as far as the poma in the Mongolia bowls. There is some sick terrain back there, but don’t bother if you are not experienced with backcountry. There are some wicked steep spots and some massive cliffs. Make sure you allow a fair amount of time because the trek back to the Vail area takes a little while, It’s not hard though, all you do is follow the valley back to the Gold Peak area.

damn, u guys are good. I didnt touch mongolia bowl (the one farthest to the right on the map, i think), and lovers leap was too hard for me, everything else though, nice.

on a side note, love the nonstop moguls in blue sky, where u go under the lift kinda, forgot names, great, long ones, probobly too easy for u BC-ers

the only downhill skiir on the board, and proud of it.

Vail- theres no comparison
