V-pro's or TM's

I realise the V's are gonna be better in pow cos' i ski about half anhalf park an backcontry but i'm jus wondering what people reakon to these ski's in both situations. i'd be looking at 175's an 180's. an i'm quite light so i don't need a real fat ski.

'I realise the V's are gonna be better in pow cos' i ski about half anhalf park an backcontry'

how is that a reason they are goin to be better in the BC? even tho they are.

get the v-pros.

hey sam... that wasn't a reason i was jus sayin... i kno that they will be better in pow. sorry if my grammers a bit crap no need to worry yourself about it

iv never liked dynastar that much so id go for volkl way beta graphics ncie to ride everywhere too

Horrible grammar. Plus, I think xtremeski_nz might be legally retarded.

SamCaylor, let us leave this thread and ensconce ourselves in the warm safety of your mother's closet.

yes buy the v-pros because the graphic is better.

#1 - go shoot yourself if you're buying a ski based on its graphic

#2 - the troublemaker graphic kicks the v-pro graphics ass

the v pros are mad stiff, the TMs are pretty soft.....but in a good way

if your final decision has come to a toss up between these two skis, you might want to rethink what you want in a ski. or just get the ones with the best graphics, because that's what you'll end up doing anyway.

umm...tm's have woodcore too

i love the smell of napalm in the morning

snow smells good to

yeh the vi is way beta and the collins brothers arnt the only good skiers.they are about the only ppl that do use volkl but they are siickk

This makes me wish I had a chance to try out some volkls but I did get to ski the TM's and I liked em so I gotta stick with it. The v's sound like a really nice do everything ski

I´ve seen a good deal for V´s, 475 US and 510 US for TM´s. The two with bindings (Marker Titanium 1200). Maybe 83 mm waist of the V-Pro is too fat for the kind of snow of my city but I´ve heard that TM´s are pretty soft to go fast. I wanna choose the most versatile but I can´t try them and I have to take a decision as soon as possible. Which one should I go?

The V-Pro are a savage all mountain ski. They are stiff right from the tip to tail, so rock soild in any snow conditions. When I was buying my skis I was undecided about 190 or 180cm. I talked to a couple of mates that are sponsored by Volkl and they said go for the 190. This is due to the stiffness of the ski, and with the longer ski you can get more perfomance out of it. Any way I am skiing the 190. The Karmas that have come out in the 2005 range to replace the v-pro look like the business. Other skis that I would recomend would the Scatch BC. They are litle more forgiving due to them not being as stiff.

i rock v-pros, picked them up for 250. i love them. they hold up through everything. they are wide and stiff so they hall muuuuufuckin ass, and they hold up on rails and ski pipe and jumps fine.

I think I´ll go with V´s, the only problem I see to them is that thay don´t have an agressive sidecut (due to the fat waist) and I don´t how well I´ll be able to handle them, my old skis have a carving radius of 14 m and these have 23 m. Maybe they won´t be as fun as my old ones specially on piste.

every turn is a sign of fear.

havent skied on th tm so im just gona say that i loooooove the v-pro. the ice grip is so good even with telebindings mounted on them.

true that bibs, the tm's are too soft and not wide enough to float very well, get the Volkls.

Wake up. Still dark. 40 fresh. Skis waxed. Camera loaded. Ready to rock. Cold fingers. Stiff joints. Red eyes. Epic mountains. Low key stashes. Waist deep turns. Grey bird. Blue bird. Hurry up. Wait. Wait. Film change. Time lapse. Time out. Game on. Going hard. 60 feet. Perfect tranny. Magic hour. One eye shut. Images captured. Dusk hits. Rally out. Sweet day. Sick shots. Cold drinks. Feeling good. Heavy snowfall. 45 expected. Dark again. Sleep.

i rode my tm's in about 2 feet of fresh, they handled great but can't compare them to any other ski in any other amount of snow

Its only for decoration thats it and thats all

What goes on in the gondala stays in the gondala

ive ridden v-pros in 36 inches of fresh and TMs in 9. the v-pros just plain out float and out ski the troublemakers

Just shut up and ski.
