Tyrol Basin is very close. They usually have a nice park up. I suggest you make a little longer drive and check out Cascade Mountain. Right now they have 80 foot S Rail up, Nice Halfpipe(soon to be super pipe), 50-60 foot table.

dude if u want to ski DONT GO to uw madison. believe me. im from the east i came out here thought it would be straight, but nobody at this school skis. if u want to ski go east or go out west. the ski club at madison goes like fuckin 10 times for the whole season. its unorganized, theres like 2 skiers in it, no one can ski. dont come here planning on having a good ski season its frustrating man as u can see. seriously - zscohn@wisc.edu

Most people here don't ski often but the ski club goes 3 time a week during febuary and part of march. There was around 10 people at most that went and most boarded. Tyrol has a good park and pipe, but its a small hill. No one comes to the midwest to ski, so if you value skiing more than any other part of the college experience, go somewhere else.

girl you know its true

I thought about UW...but considered the tuition and noticed that its about the same price to go to colorado state, youll find plenty of skiers there.

Good skiing requires nothing else, not even partying. Marquette is much better than Spirit for all types of skiing plus there is backcountry action and lots of publicity, if thats your thing.
