UVMSSC buses

Says the buses leave for Jay at 730 in the morning, but its first come first serve. Anyone from UVM, how early do you have to get there to get a spot on the bus?

i'm got a ride for tomorrow, but i'm taking the bus sunday. I was planning on just getting out front at 5 30, and napping till the bus comes. I legitimately don't give a fuck, i will get on that bus.

good to see more uvmers on here. my name is will, i have a HUGE ass black jacket and less baggy tan pants. say high tomorrow if your going to stowe.

im going to wake up at 6:30, put my contacts in, and start walking at 6:45 from central
 
where you live on central? cuz i'm in chitty.
and yeah, i'm still gonna get up that early. front of the bus=on the hill faster.
 
haha that seems wayy early....i was thinking about showing up around 6:45-7, but now im thinkin that may be too late haha. I live in Tupper so at least i have a quick walk
 
aight, so were running busses that leave at 730 to stowe and jay
i had to take em last year and your usually good if you get there a half hour ahead of time. so show up at 7.
there might be a lot of people since its our first bus weekend but i also know alot of kids wont have their gear until after winter break so it could go either way.

 
yeah I was there at 545. FIrst people there, legit. LIke at least 15 minutes until more kids started coming. It ended up being a shitshow, finally everyone lined up to Jay. Bus pulls behind, guy yells its for Jay, we all sprint. Stupid girl in front of me just starts walking, didn't make it on. Kid from SSC says they are gonna make it more organized soon. This really sucks, waited 2 hours and didn't even get on the goddamn bus
 
word, i was there since like 6:30.....and when everyone started running shit got crazy. Some snowboarder got trampled...but bullshit for you man.
They should get those things at the Deli where everyone takes a number....and if your in the right numbers you get on. Along with that, there was enough people for 2 packed busses
 
that sucks, yay they used to give out numbers but they've been having real problems with the buses.

I have a car and if anyone ever needs a ride to jay hit me up! always willing to help a fellow nser out
 
do you guys know if there are any plans to make it more organized for tomorrow? I definently want to ride but i dont wanna wait for an hour to get shafted.
 
Alright guys. I'm really sorry about the chaos yesterday. All of the SSC officers are new this year so we are figuring things out the hard way. I wasn't there this morning, but I believe a new fair system was put into place and it will def be addressed at our weekly meeting tomorrow. So were really sorry if you got shafted out of the bus, but they will be fair in the future and if you did, come talk to me at our second general meeting and ill try to hook you up with some shhhhhwag
 
Sunday morning everything worked out. There was a girl with a signup sheet and notecards to people who came first and it worked real well. Thanks
 
i graduated last year but ill still be making the drive to sugarbush 3-4 times a week. if anybody wants to throw down $5 for gas or roll one for the ride, i wouldn't be opposed to being a taxi driver.
