Hey i messaged some people but got nothing. Did everyone who got into UVM fid out through the appstatus page on the website? cause mine doesnt say anything like they havent released it yet or something.

you really should not get too bent out of shape about being deferred. colleges have to fill all these quotas which sadly arent merit based a lot of the time. so you can end up feeling like you got screwed while people far less qualified than you were accepted no problem. its fucked up i know, but hopefully you applied to other schools.

Fuck that I got deferred because someone in the admissions office lost my transcripts, fuck that person

not calling you out, but this is untrue. it may seem like it, most schools have no "quota".

and salomonskiier, don't get upset that two rich girls got in - UVM has a $28 million dollar budget deficit for this fiscal year, meaning two things:

1) they will accept the rich kids first (so they have to give less financial aid)

2) you'll get in, because they want your money too. chances are, you'll be living in a forced quad next year in lounge converted to a room.

Alright so i guess the deal is...after talking with my college counselor. And looking some things up, they had far more applications sent in than they were expecting. So just because you got differed doesn't mean its a no. They need time to sort through all the applications.

well it cant be all about the financial problems they're having cause my pops works at UVM so i go for free and i still got in ...nd yah deffered doesnt necesarily mean you're not in...bunch o people wont go cause they get into better schools...good luck to all those who got defered...see yah next year
