UVM

I barely graduated HS (too many absences) and got in, but had a 1320 SAT's and kick ass extra-curriculars, and a 2.96 GPA from a very highly ranked HS.

princeton review

I got like a 960 on PSAT's took Princeton Review and pulled a 1320 (600 Verbal, 720 math). SAT's are pretty simple when you learn how to take em and not be intimidated by em. Plus don't forget, you can take em multiple times, and submit your highest scores of each.

its a lot easier to get in than stay in. i went in with a 3.6 gpa and 1240 or something on my sats...left (got dismissed from my major) with a 2.1 gpa

definately more tough to stay in. I got thrown out first semester for failing 2 classes, got back in and was on Academic and Disciplinary probation 2nd semester.

And stay away from attendence based classes if you are on probation. If you get sick you're fucked - trust me I know.

UVM isn't hard to get into at all. I have a few friends going there and they say it's alright. If you want a better college in the Northern part of VT look at Middlebury, if I decide to stay instate that's where I am going to go. Although it's really hard to get into Middlebury. You could be like my siblings and go to Champlain or Johnson... eaaaaasy.

in you live in vermont you can get in through the gap program too. there were a few kids on my floor that barely made it through colchester high school, but since they were vermont residents they were given the opportunity to go, tuition paid and all.
