HELP!

i really cant decide.

Saint Mikes gave me a much better scholarship but i kinda like the vibe and how much bigger UVM is.

Give me reason why i should or shouldn't go to either

also anyone that goes to or knows someone at Quinnpiac, what are your opinions there?

Hamden CT is possibly the biggest shit hole in the world. I live 5 minutes from Quinnipiac, I would not suggest going there, especially if you like UVM. Quinnipiac has no "campus", Hamden is so boring dude.

I go to UVM and its great.

St. Michael's is pretty sweet. it's been a good 4 years and I feel well prepared for the world come May 16 (eeeek!).
size, housing and cost are probably the biggest differences. you can ski all the same mountains and go to all the same bars. and public vs. private (in this case, catholic) colleges, cause there is a difference.

i visited both and liked UVM alot more. there was nothing going on at mikes and some fat chik was our guide

Go to St. Mikes because i am going there next year, its small so has a better feel and if you wanna actually learn stuff then it is great, if you wanna party, do UVM it will be better for that

uvm! cuz im going there. i got accepted to both but liked the vibe of uvm way more...bigger and more social and a great education

Obviously I'm biased because I'll be a senior at SMC next year. But I honestly love it here. Sometimes it feels a bit small but that also has it's positives. My largest class has been maybe 28 kids. Housing is pretty solid and you don't have to worry about trying to find places to live. And since everyone is always around campus, parties on the weekend are legit just going around and wandering to different townhouses. All the skiers and snowboarders at the school are all really tight. We get the $30 buck Smuggs pass, even though pretty much everyone just goes to Stowe. Overall it's pretty boss.

i just know its not walking distance from burlington like all the other schools are. and i feel like driving into town to party would suck, unless there is a bus

BTW

im looking to major in Business and then possibly do something on the side or minor in Digital Art

you guys who go to uvm what were your grades in high school like? i have like a 3.4-3.5ish GPA and I've had my eye on uvm for a long time. the thing is my family cant even come close do being able to pay the 45 grand for tuition so i'd need to get a lot of financial aid. i'm out of state so that obviously make a difference aswell

Well... I went to UVM so I'll say UVM
If you went to St. Mike's you'll probably say St. Mike's
Honestly you'll probably be happy either way. The only downside I see to SMC is how far away from downtown it is, but no one I''m friends with there seemed to complain too much about it.

i got into quinipiac, waiting on uvm still....i hear quinnipiac is a pretty fun school, solid academics, and so many hot girls

i got into both uvm and st mikes and goin to UVM next year really stoked... i liked the campus and everything a lot better and st mikes is so small

my friend went to smc this year..and now is deciding to transfer because she wasnt accidemically challanged..thats what made me decide

Ya I want to go to st. Mikes, I go to a catholic school now, but does anybody know hat kinda grades u need to get in there?

yeah I'm at quinnipiac now for a graduate program and I think undergrad here would be sorta lame. kinda an extension of high school, seem like.

Senior at UVM here.

Drinking on campus is more chill at st mikes, but hard drugs are more prevalent.

Drinking on campus at UVM is a no no, but there are always house parties, a shuttle into burlington and bars.

UVM has a literal shit ton of clubs you can join and more people to make a more diverse set of friends. There are more worldviews at uvm from what I've seen and our ambulance squads are less douchy

Yea don't get me wrong, Quinnipiac is fantastic academically, but it really is just high school all over. I'm from Wallingford, and all the kids that I graduated with either went to Uconn or Quinnipiac together.

yeah I just moved to wally world. not a bad place, pretty convenient for what I need it for. I'm in the pa program so I'm solely here to study. 12-14 hours each day roughly so it's nice to have everything on one street.

I did my undergrad at uconn, actually felt like college.
