UVM Class of 2013/ Freestyle Ski Team

they are all really poppy, but i got used to them and personally would rather hit a lippier jump (given the landing is groomed accordingly and is steeper, unfortunately stowe does not do this). i cant hit jumps without lip and spin since i dont feel that 'apex' in the air when i spin
 
ah yes this certain 'apex' is key when spotting the landing for a solid prison shower bang.
and I am really interested to see this 617 movie. when you kids releasing that?
 
we kidna fucked this season up.. so not for a while.

ill be at hood for 2 months that will help speed it up
 
yeah i think i got the prison shower bang DOWN. took me most of the season to get it, but yeah lets just totally make fun of how i land everytime
 
sorry for the double post. dont be nervous. youre entering a class of 2000+ and many people are in the same boat as you. you will meet alot of cool and friendly people, and then a handful of people who are weird or suck to be around. you will have fun. orientation is a lot of fun. if you go in with an open mind and attitude and are willing to be outgoing and meet people then you will have fun and enjoy UVM.
 
yea i am not used to lippy jumps, but i saw tons of kids throwing down. It was just scary as shit hitting that first jump in tyro my first time because it felt like I was going up a quarter pipe. Jump was sick though, never got the chance to spin it because I was on a school trip and we had to leave early to get back to CT.
 
and then you also meet some people who came from their mothers wombs at 5'8" with a man beard. i generally advise avoiding such people.

but in all seriousness kid, don't worry about it. the majority of that have replied to this will have houses next year. just pm us and we will hook ya up with some parties and such.

and candy and puppies.....
 
either one of two things happend for you this year. you didnt ski stowe when tyro was up casue its top to bottom fromt he triple. or your crew isnt legit enough. either way you missed out.
 
yea i thought flow wasn't bad at all. a bunch of decent sized features into smaller jumps or pipe with rails after it. not bad for northern vermont.
to bad there was a massive river under tyro and they had to plow it, cuz the landings kept caving in
 
i still don't know if i buy that. we saw nothing of the sort for the first part of slush season.

oh and also that kid is straight retarded.
 
aw thats cute. and pretty much every other person i meet up here has a 617 area code.... you must have quite the extensive crew!

i will definitely try out for it... even if you dont make it at least it would be a good chance to meet some cool people to chill with on the mountain

if anyone is interested in the freestyle ski team and wants some more info and has orientation this weekend, come by the Davis Center around noonish on thursday or friday. i will be there, unless i forget to go.
 
I'm pretty sure that mski is transferring to the u of u. and my buddy scott goes to champlain but he snowboards but he kills it!

Does anyone know when any events are going down at Stowe? I could not find any event calendar on their website.
 
there is a USASA slope comp on the 3rd, but i have never been able to find the "stowked series" that apparently still exists
 
Killington has the K-Town Showdown Series.... AND it was even named by a member of the UVM Freestyle Ski Team, you should just come to that instead and hang out with me!

FST is pretty sweet too though. actually, everyone that rides stowe, for the most part, is legit.

not as good as stowe! honestly, north slope is going OFF! so dope. keep it up. second jump in north is sooooooo dope! good flow as well.
