Utah Skiing over Thanksgiving Break

Hey!

Does anyone want to come ski places like Alta, Snowbird, PC, and Brighton with me over Thanksgiving break? Most of my friends are heading out to places like Hawaii and Mexico, so I'll be skiing alone for the whole week unless anyone wants to meet up! Im totally down to ski Nov 19th-Nov 25th!

I dunno if asking something like this over NS is sketchy or not, I just thought itd be the best place to actually find people who would want to ski every day!

You might want to stick to just PC. Natural snowfall by then is not looking the best. And Bird/Alta don't have the best snowmaking and need a bunch of natural snow.

Thats true about the snowfall... Either way though, im skiing Alta, PC and Brighton for sure because my friend got me free lift tickets for that week! Skiing alone is fine, but meeting new (non-rapist) skiers is cool too hahah

there's still 3 weeks until then, how would you know what natural snowfall by then is looking like? lol

Well I get and follow a very accurate close range forecast as well as long range. I know weather and pay attention to the ins and outs of weather/pattern changes/etc... Also, it does not take a genius to know that Alta/Bird are not the best early season when you need at least 100"+ for stuff to start to be ski-able

Well, if any of you guys do want to ski this Thanksgiving, wherever there IS snow, haha just hit me up! (: Oh and the Canyons might be an option too, depending on what kind of snow is coming our way.

if youre hot and >18, come rage with 12 blok. if you clean our house, we can prolly give you some rides to pc and btown

A possible two feet this weekend and another cycle moving in the following week? Some of the most fun days of my life were around Thanksgiving and I'm hoping this year will be the same.

What up, I'm Topher. You a Bieber fan? You should join the fan club and maybe we could chat over Skype or something. If we click we should take some laps together. Quick question, you're under the age of 14 right?

How come no one is really being honest with her? I'm looking out my window as I write this to absolutely zero snow on the summit of Lone Peak. Right now there really isn't anything left over from our moderate storm from a few weeks ago. Yes there is a storm rolling in that shows promise, but only enough to barely cover rocks. Paying a lot of money to come out here to ski over thanksgiving isn't worth it. If you've got money to spend like it ain't a thing - then you wouldn't have asked in the first place. Therefore, my recommendation is to skip it. If you're convinced to give it a go anyway, I would recommend that you start following this guys forecasting (www.wasatchsnowforcast.com) and make sure that there's even snow to ski on during the holiday. One more thing - do not even consider going to the three resorts in Park City. Too low and no good coverage by then. Look to Alta/Snowbird for the best coverage. Cheers!!

Well money isnt exactly an issue, seeing that im at the U for school, the wasatch is basically my backard! Plus i have a couple free lift tickets like i said earlier. At this point im just hoping for some snow here soon. I mean, this season has to be better than last years. Lets stay positive here!

^fair enough - I guess I should have read more carefully your original post. If the resort open in time, then yes, you should go and enjoy whatever is available. If you're at the U, why don't you have a season pass yet? Student deal are too retarded to pass up!

Well i'm on a skiing scholarship so i'm going to Colorado for the months starting in January! A season pass world be pointless haha

Hey you guys should check out my skiing scholarship application! My video is Katie J, you can vote up to 3 times! skibumscholarship.com. # of votes doesn't decide the winner, but it helps! Thanks (:
