What is the social scene in Salt Lake like?? I mean, I know about the weird laws going on there about alcohol, but for those of you who have spent a season there or longer, is there any kind of social scene, maybe amongst the skiers and snowboarders? Do people drink?? I want to go there because I know the skiing is amazing, and that is the most important thing, but I'm some what concerned I'm going to get there and there's going to be nothing to do when I'm not skiing.

yeah, i know there is a ton of mormons there but I'm figuring that there's a bunch of people that come there for the ski season that are not mormon.

i got to snowbird and alta a lot, and at night its dead there... colorado has a huge nightlife scene, i know that.. but as far as ive seen its smaller at UTAH, and nonexistant at like snowbird and alata, just ebcasue theres not real town.

Of course salt lake city could be completly different but ive just heard that utah is less nightlife then like CO.

i just got back from there after a weeks stay...pretty much the only thing to say is that i was not under the influence for the first....1 hour of my trip...there sure are some cool ass people in slc man dnt worry.

Don't come here, this is my third year living out here and I havnt been to a party in like 3 YEARS! There are no girls and alcohol is illegal, the skiing sucks and there is nothing to do outdoors or downtown, move to colorado its SICKKKKKKK!

sarcasm? I really can't tell. I just need to know if I'm going to have a good time. I don't need ragers every night, I just need to know if I'm going to be able to meet cool people.

fuckin seriously...it just "snowed" here and it was absolute shit...go to colorado, hell, anywhere BUT Utah....

oh, and party scene...utah...are you seriously even considering putting the two together?

haha. i live in CO and its pretty sweet here. im going to U of Utah next year so im pumped. snowbird was fucking crazy a couple weeks ago when i was there...i mean it sucked..stay out of utah. thats what you wanted me to say right

in the summer all the skateparks have lightes if you skate, which is sick, but maybe instead of complaining about not being to a party you should do something about it and throw one

i was gonna move there this summer, but mignt end up moving in april. i actually needa find roomates if anyones looking

I won't be there till after summer, porbably september, but obviously I'd be need to find roommates. However, you would probably alright your living arrangement set by then.

Wow, I'm tired. Let me re-write that:

I won't be there till after summer, porbably september, but obviously I'd need to find roommates. However, you would probably already have your living arrangement set by then.

my parents bought me a 4 bedroom house in sandy, i needa find roomates but im sure ill have room, rent is ognna be cheap, something like 350 a month its gonna be sweet

The laws are awful and the nightlife is horrible. The skiing is overrated as well. I don't even know why I live here actually. You should go to Jackson or Tahoe cause this place sucks.

break the laws and make your own night life haha. just find someone with there own house thats cool and you dont need nightlife

I heard something about having to be a "member" for certain bars?? What's that about?

How far way is park city from salt lake? is the bus connector that you can use?

why are you all saying that utah's snow is terrible?.. is this sarcasm?.

Utah has the best snow in the north east. Its light unlike the sierra cement, and utah gets tons more snow than colorado

so im slightly confused

Damnit, how far away is park city from Salt Lake? and is there some sort of bus line connecting the two that runs daily?

less than an hour... im pretty sure there is a bus, but there quite close

some mornings i drive from around the snowbird region in the mountains, back down to salt late, and then to park city in an hour..

so its less than that if your in salt lake

That's what I'm talkin bout. Yesterday, when it was waist deep and blower up here in Alta all I was thinking was "Damn, I hate this shit. I can't fucking breath, there's nobody up here cause the road is closed, and the park isn't even open." Then, when I was filming up in the Gulch I was like "Man, all you can see is my pom-pom on my hat and my pole sticking out of the snow. You can't even see my face cause it's so deep. How are people even going to know what I look like." Damn, I love this place. And the report said 3". Ha.

all the mormons i know up there are pot smoking alocoholics, so i dont know what all you other guys are talking about hahaha
