For those of you who have been fortunate enough to ski in both Colorado and Utah, who has the better parks and big mountain, accessable to those willing to make the trek up the mountain???

Well, im from CO, so im ganna talk up CO. But i really feel that Vail has the best backcountry in this country (next to jackson hole, WY) Blue Skyy Basin is simply the shit. a lift takes you right there, and you can hike some more the mtn too. its fuckin expensive, but it is still tight. any place out west is ganna be tight as hell anyway......

I'll say Utah, cuz im from Utah. Everyone who says it sucks because its 'overrun' with Moromons doesnt know what in the fuck they're talking about. There are the occasional weird ones, but there are people like that in every society, other than that they are all pretty cool. Wow I got off the subject. Utah's better if we get snow.

Hey forget the girls in SLC airport man, mormons are annoying.. Colorado,, man there's nothing like Vail pass for backcountry, and the parks in CO, man Breckenridge, Copper, A Basin, Keystone.. That's where it's at man..

Utah gets like twice the snow that colorado does (except for Steamboat) and you don't have to sit in I-70 traffic either.

ya either we seed teh clouds or its the desert/lake effect. Either way ive skied both and i know which is better so all you shit heads can go to colorado thats over run with tourists. and wait in trafic all down i70 have fun fuckers

you guys don't have any mountains like Silverton.

And you don't have parks that come close to Breck or Vail.

I'm sorry but Colorado is the most famous ski state for a reason

 
if we have another shitty year in co i'm moving to utah... parks are only fun for so long, but good pow never gets boring

alta and snowbird combined are sicker than any other mountains in america, except maybe jackson...and park city has and unbelievable park

 
when pow hits CO, it has to be WAY better than utah any day of the week, and lasting through I-70 is part of the dedication....
