Utah In April

I may be going to Utah in April from the 13th to the 19th and I was wondering how the conditions where that late into the season. What resorts can I find still open and how are the parks usually at this time in the year. Thanks for any help

you might want to make that a week earlier cuz right around that time is when most of the resorts close. the parks are really slushy and fun in april

snowbird will be your best bet. its really fun when everyone closes cuz all the park city kids show up and its fun to watch them all throw down. but yeah there wont be a "park" per-say but a fun set up indeed and usually everyone and there mom shows up and since its spring good good vibes.... except willem trys to pop a cap in every gaper snowboader he sees/ but can you blame him?

i think PC is supposed to close on like the 13th...and thats a super late spring break, i think im done with school on the 25th.

Oh come on, that kid was wearing JEANS!!!! I had to make the jump legit and wasn't REALLY in his way... Its true though if it weren't for Tex I woulda been strait laid out...

pretty sure brightons gonna be open till the 28th... and the park will be seshable until the day they close... not to mention uber fun... so if you dont want to deal with the lack of park that snowbird has to offer, come play at brighton...

Last year Park City closed on April 15.  I know this because I because I blew my knee closing weekend, and it was Friday the 13th. And the park was sick as fuck.  But we've had a lot more snow this year, so hopefully they'll stay open longer.  Snowbird will be open until June at least.

i dont think they will be staying open longer because their insurance policies run out. but the park is killer around that time.

Most resorts out here can't stay open that long due to wildlife preservation. I think everyone besides Snowbird has to close by mid-april or something to not disturb the natural order of animal migration.

correction moose is also the version for multiple and you should have used their instead of the location version of that word.

Snowbird acually owns the land that the lifts are on so thats why they can stay open later than the other resorts...I think...

If I remember correctly, the forest service owns the land. I know Alta, Brighton, and Solitude lease this land every year for a certain period of time so that they can run the lifts. Snowbird owns their land so they can do whatever the fuck they want. As far as PC and Deer Vagina and the Canyons I have no idea.
