Freeskier Society and Bluehouse skis have teamed up to bring you the
Utah Freeskier Society ski graphic design contest! Bluehouse recently
started pressing a few models of skis right here in Salt Lake City. The
flagship of their made-in-USA design is the 191 Precinct. Now is your
chance to design a custom UFS graphic for the 191 Precinct, with the
opportunity to win a pair for yourself!
The Bluehouse Precinct
is a bizarre, but brilliant hybrid on the part of Bluehouse ski
designers. The Precinct has a brand new rocker profile this season- more
tip and tail, less camber under foot.
This early rise ski was
bred to handle big mountain bowls while delivering stability and
confidence to stay above the deep stuff, and the Precinct's rockered
ends will keep you nimble in trees.
Did we mention the Precinct
was wide enough for any pow-day of the year? This ski is ideal for deep
tram-days, teeth-chattering crud, and backcountry tours.
One more thing: the Precinct is 100% made in the U.S.A.
Rules:
Download the ski design template here. (the file is uploaded to google docs. File > Download to save the template to your computer). Designers
must use this design template. designs must be submitted as .ai files.
THIS MEANS YOU MUST USE ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR TO DESIGN YOUR SKI.
Download the UFS logo here and the Bluehouse logo here.
You are encouraged to use these logos, however it is not mandatory
that you do so. Keep in mind that this is a custom Utah Freeskier
Society graphic that you are creating, which will be sold as a limited
release graphic, so the idea is that you would keep the theme Utah
Freeskier Society related.

- NO COPYWRITTEN MATERIAL CAN BE USED IN THE CREATION OF YOUR IMAGE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE OWNERS PERMISSION
- High resolution is always better. We can work with low res somewhat, but the bigger the better.
- No obsence, lude, or pornographic images will be allowed.
- Utah Freeskier Society will disqualify any entry that it deems inappropriate.

Utah Freeskier Society will pick the top 3 designs. Those 3 designs
will be put on our facebook page for 1 week. At the end of that week
the design with the most likes wins.

Grand Prize:
The
winner of the Design Contest will get to go to the Bluehouse Factory
and watch their skis get hand made on their press in Salt Lake City.
(winner must provide their own transportation to the factory, so ideally
the winner should live close to Salt Lake City). Winner will then get
to take their new skis home with them. The skis you will win are the 191cm Bluehouse Precinct with your UFS graphic on it.
