........ what the heellllllllll do you mean? you can't just say that without explaining yourself. i am in no way a hardcore football fan, but that's quite a statement. hore are bowls un-american? they occur as a tradition every year before during and after the new year. really.. i'd love to hear this.
 
^^ i dont think he's saying that bowl games are unamerican, but more that the current bcs system is dumb. at least thats the argument i've heard a lot. Mostly because Utah has broken into the BCS bowls two times, beat the teams pretty good both times, but we still dont have a chance to play for the national championship. A lot of people think there should be a playoff system such as march madness or something instead of the current bowl situation.

I never said anything about it being un-American, Its very American in the sense that it generates a shit load of money, but I said it was the biggest embarrassment in American sports which is different. The "championship" game is decided by doing math. You should never be able to ARGUE who the champion of a team sport is....

Utah deserved a shot at the championship just like the Fighting Manginos of Kansas deserved a shot last year (we wenren't undefeated, we lost one). Every year multiple teams get fucked over
 
Hahaha suckers, whats the BCS gotta say now? We beat a team who was ranked number 1 at one time. Utah better hit top 4 for next year.
