Usual progression for new park skier?

been skiing for a long ass time but never got into park stuff so for the first time, i started to get really into it this season.

got like 4 days of park? i can do 180s but haven't nutted up for 360 yet because it scares me lol. i can do boxes and rails sideways but nothing too crazy. just jumps and easy grabs. i'm kinda used to hucking small cliffs doing bc so the largest jump i've done so far is like 25 ~ 30ft and stomped it

my question is, what are the tricks i should be learning as a new guy? like where do you start and go from here?

how are you going to talk about progressing when you dont have the balls to even try a 3? just do it, it wont hurt that bad if you fall

don't worry about a progression rate. If you don't feel confident and safe doing it, do something else until you get that confidence up. If you have absolutely mastered a 180, a 3 shouldn't scare you much.

I usually start with the most basic trick. While on the chairlift, take off your skis, throw them on the ground way below you, do a backflip off and land into your bindings. Then afterbang.

many of these responses are nsg quality... step it up folks

OP, definitely go for some 3s if youre comfortable with 180s. however, it's not exactly the same motion and it took me much longer to do a 3, so like others said don't worry about the pace of progression really. just have fun working it out. it is much easier to progress rail quickly. start trying some 270s out on a flat box
