Ok I"m planning on buying a Xbox360 from a local game store. They have both a used and refurbished ones for $200. What does refurbished usually mean? Also do you think I should look on ebay for better deals or get the one at the local store cause the ones on ebay usually go past 200 even the used ones.

refurbished ones are usually tested to see their conditiion, or they were broken ones sent bad to microsfot, they got fixed, and are now sold as refurbished.

I would go with refurbished. That means it was sent back to microsoft and made "good as new". A used one might have some problems. If they're the same price refurbished is a better buy.

Yea between used and refurbished I'd go with refurbished for sure. One thing you might want to consider though is that refurbished xbox 360's come with a 90 day warranty I think, while if you spend an extra 150 for a new one you get 3 years. Thats something you would have to decide for yourself whether its worth it, but if you buy a refurbished one for 200 and it breaks after a year, you're going to end up having to buy another one and spend more money than you would have just buying a new one.

refubished is basically new, anything defective was replaced with new stuff. used is just that, used.
