I can't believe USA beat Mexico. it's the first time they're in teh top 8. I'm going to root for them, but when they play( i think it's Germany), i think they're fucked

yes they are playing GERMANY nex round. history was made... its the 1st time USA has gotten past the knock out round ever. i am so happy! that was a ridiculous amount of yellow cards in one game... 10! im kinda mad that arena didnt put in clint mathis or de marcus besley... but whatever WE WON!!!! landon donavon rules.

Germany will be a hard game, but who thought we were gonna make it outta the first round, and then who thought we were gonna beat Mexico? We just played bad against Poland, we shoulda won that game easily. USA world cup champs!

it would be soo funny if the USA won because we are the prob the country who is the least in to the sport haha look at smaller countrys they kill players if they lose a game. prob only 1/4 of the population actuly knows whats going on haha we suck(soccer fan wise). USA all the way

Let's see. USA plays Germany Friday morning. If I don't get up to watch that, i'll have to had died in my sleep.

Germany has one of the best offensive finishers in the world, Klose. However, Germany's own third is slow. US offense is very fast. We can use that to our advantage and if we can contain Germanys offense, we can honestly win. Should be an awesome match. Can't wait.

As for latter rounds. As some of you may now know, S. Korea shocked Italy by pulling a 2-1 OT win. This means that The winner of Germany/USA will face the winner of Spain/South Korea.

As far as goalies go i dont think there is anyone in the world playing better than Friedal right now.

As far as what SkunkJib said above, all i can say is that you're wrong, this is the farthest the U.S has ever been.
