I wouldnt say that much...
The united states gets oil from north america because its easier to ship it and it is in the neighborhood... but if the us ever got its hands on shippable oil from the middle east, it would be able to financially dominate all of its new political and economical rivals such as china and russia.
Also, Russia is not all that interested in oil from the middle east, unless you are speaking of the former soviet republics that are within the middle east such as armenia and azerbaijan, which is where a good 70% of its oil still comes from. They are also starting to use a lot more natural gas, which they have an incredible abundance of.
France also gets much of its oil from African nations like Nigeria, whom it still seemingly serves as a protectorate of...
China is starting to further explore its own oil sources from within its massive land area... so if they find a good source, such as the gobi and taklamakan deserts, they might not even be as interested as they have been lately, which would give a good reason as to why the US would like to jump a claim on middle eastern oil.
